My words mixed into a rithmatic sequence.

I can't serenade you with a guitar
Or play the piano
In a complicated sequence
That will melt your heart
And I can't sing for shit
But I'm pretty literate
So I can write about you
All day, till it hurts my wrist
Creating a document
Of an imaginary tryst
A lovers rendezvous
The type that could only exist
In my head
When I’m laying in my bed
Slightly unconscious
Hanging on by a thread
To everything I’m not
Because I think that’s what you want
With a  heart
Heavy like it's made out of lead
I try to be nonchalant
But it keeps playing back
Like a song suck on repeat
Your name comes up in my thoughts
Like subliminal messaging
Inspiring
Unintentional acts of passion
And a chemical reaction
Resulting in an attraction
Now I find that my focus
Is often on the distractions
And that any price is payable
If it means your satisfaction

The fracture makes it's way
Across the landscape
Slowly my heart breaks
Cuz i just can't take
The thought of you becoming nothing but a memory
For me

Hearts lay abandoned on the floor
Where they've been landing
As I make more
A pile of failed attempts
to re-create
the one that you stole
If you would just give it back
I promise I wont be mad
Theres just this other thief
And she says that it makes her sad
When she comes to visit me
And I'm locked up in the back
Chipping away at glass
Trying to make her something to steal


I want to be that young boy
Stranger to your eyes
Making your b.p.m rise
Cuz you know
I can see though your disguise
But it’s all right
You secrets are safe with me
That is, until
I incorporate them into my poetry
And our whispers become lyrics
Baby girl I’ll set you free
And at the same time
Make you cherish
The ability to breathe
Because whenever your near me
I'll be taking you breath away


My heart was the pond
And your love was the rock
That disturbed the surface
And skipped over the top
Now the ripples won't stop
And i don't know what to do
Cuz every time one hits the shore
I fall more in love with you

As I sat on the edge of the earth
I saw the place between death and birth
Where truths were scarce
And lies where heard
Don’t you think it’s a bit absurd
That the land for dreams
Would be so ugly when seen
With the naked eye
A place where it seems
As though the days
Are slowly flowing through time
But take a quick glance at your watch
And you'll be distraught to find
That your moving 5 yps
Years Per Second
Or so it seems
When you recall your childhood
And it's like a 10 second dream
Vauge in some places
And vivid in others



I'm gonna recreate creativity with a pen stroke

Just to confuse you

Lines designed
To leave butterflies in your chest

Rhymes so fine
They’ll send chills down your spine and neck
Just let go
And allow the rhythm to flow
Through your mentality
While it takes you to a place
Void of all reality
And relax
As I unleash
A poetic melody
Brought to life by my visions
A piece of paper and some ink
Now sink
Into a state of consciousness
In which I can invade your mind
And plant this

I’m the personification
Of poetic innovation
Filling hearts with devastation

They could write a lyrical sequence that sounds like this
I live for the sensation

When hit with inspiration
That astounds like this

She was like a falling star
Elegantly lost in the dark
I didn't know where she was landing
But I'd gladly travel that far
If only to learn her name
Something so beautiful has to be
surrounded but tragedy
And a little insane
And thats just the girl I'm looking for
I'm not gonna play any games
I'll be straight to the point
I want a kiss from this dame
In distress

I’m not fluent in the language of love
But you’re speaking it fluently to me
Every single syllable
Slowly setting my heart free

And a multiple of 5
Between 1 and 3
I think you'd be
It's entity
Curing me
With your poison
Designed
To make the blind see
And now that you’ve blessed me
With vision
I can’t stop thinking about your smile
It’s like a flat screen television
Inside my head
And I’m that brain dead guy
Who can’t turn his eyes away
To save his life
Dependant on the image
And the beauty that it portrays
He won’t realize
That she can’t see him
And so he sits for days
Just waits and waits
For her to acknowledge him
And the words that he’ll say

Everything looks perfect from far away 

From where I’m standing
Which is pretty far away
You’re more than I could ever imagined
But you know what they say
So I took a few steps closer
To confirm my beliefs
That was my first mistake
Cuz from your head to your feet
You’re perfect
In every single since of the word
Captivated by your smile
Some crazy thoughts occurred
Would it be possible
For me to spend forever in your heart
The void in my chest gets bigger
Whenever we’re apart

The mattress is on the floor
The candles are lit low
Emitting a glow
That complements the beauty of your soul
You enter from the left
I’m waiting on the right
Left speechless by
The way your eyes
Reflect the moonlight
I’m trying not to stare
My eyes fixated on the hard wood floor
While I tell you how I want to explore
Every inch of your body
And every mile of your mind
I ask you “Is it a crime
That I want you to be mine?”
You answer with a smile
Followed by a kiss
And from that moment I know
You and I were meant to lock lips
Then I break the shield
Of amity that I built
And Tattoo your name
On my metaphorical heart
An act of devotion
As I caress your emotions
Drinking that sweet yet venomous potion
Most commonly known as love
It burns the back of my throat
As I down every last drop
Sweet with a bite
I clench my teeth and shake it off
Now the second hand is moving
Just a little bit slower
And the mood needs to be set
Just a little bit lower
Before I can get you
To drop your guard
I’m still trying to figure out
If I have all the right cards
Sweet talk
We talk
For what seems like days
Into the night
And through the night
Now I’m lost in your gaze
I want to romance you
Get you lost in a maze
Of soft spoken secrets
That will set your heart ablaze
And as my heart rate quickens
I can feel myself slippin
I’m trippin
Over my words
Grippin
For nouns and verbs
Observe
How I take her hand
And put it on my chest
So she can feel the effects
Of my heart under the stress
Of a love sick intellect
Indirectly affected
By her love for me
A simple kiss brought me to my knees
And eased the pain
Just for a quick
Touch of the lips
And my hearts been stained
By her kiss
It’s kinda hard to explain
Now I’m caught up in a bliss
The equivalent
Of being kissed in the rain
Then she says those three words
I’ve been waiting for all night
As we’re walking to my car
In the warmth of the morning light
Without a moments hesitation
And much to her delight
I say them back to her
Add a “too”
And so ignites
The flame of desire
Which, over time, will inspire
A longing for this girl
Whom I admire
My hands are on her lower back
And she keeps glancing at my lips
She wraps her arms around my neck
As I lean in to deliver a kiss
The likes
Of which
The world has never seen
Unequaled even by the ones
She’s seen on the big screen
Then I say in a whisper
“I’ve got to go...”
She says
“I know.”
But her eyes were begging me to slow my roll
Next thing I know
I’m in the car
Staring through the window
And our souls feel so far apart
And my heart
It’s singing this song
Now that she’s not near
It has a melancholy beat with a hint of fear
But if you listen closely
Then you might hear
The little bit of regret
That’s ringing through my ears
I should have asked for one more kiss
But deep inside I know
I’d still be feeling like this
Like something’s amiss
Absent
In the abyss
Of my existence
I can see her smiling
Blowing a kiss
In the distance
As I drive away
Working against
My hearts resistance
Every second that passes by
Is an instant
In which I long to look into her eyes
The place where beauty is defined
In every language and rhyme
So until next time

We may be miles apart
